Monday, July 13 – 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Technology transfer benefits you as well as NASA. This overview course teaches civil servants and contractors the ins and outs of technology transfer, including Kennedy specific practices. You will learn how to work with Kennedy’s Innovative Partnerships Program Office, understand the various mechanisms used to partner with organizations and identify factors that accelerate the transfer of technology.

2009 Phase 1 Solicitations are scheduled to open on July 7, 2009.
NASA issues annual program solicitations that set forth a substantial number of R/R&D topics and subtopic areas consistent with stated agency needs or missions. Both the list of topics and the description of the topics and subtopics are sufficiently comprehensive to provide a wide range of opportunity for Small Business Concerns (SBC) to participate in NASA research or R&D programs. Topics and subtopics emphasize the need for proposals with advanced concepts to meet specific agency R/R& D needs.
